Front Desk Receptionist and Marketing Assistant for a busy Hearing Healthcare office. Must be enthusiastic, cheerful, and an outgoing individual able to communicate well with patients of all ages.
Job consists of, but is not limited to:
- PUBLIC RELATIONS: Community Relations, Promos, Publications, Chamber of Commerce
- REFERRALS: Internal, Staff, and External Referral Campaigns, Professional Referrals & Follow-up
- ARRANGING & IMPLEMENTING EVENTS: In-Office Workshops & Events, Patient Education, Outside Lectures, Health & Stress Screenings
-ADVERTISING: Emails/Newsletters, Website, Press Releases, Print Ads, Postcards/Mailings
-FRONT DESK:
ü Answer the phones, voicemail, takes messages, makes outgoing calls to patients & send faxes
ü Greet patients including accepting payments, having them document their subjective condition, and all new patient intake forms/information.
ü Patient scheduling including calling new patient prospects to confirm appointments.
ü Opening & closing the office
ü Verify insurance eligibility/benefits
ü Enter patient, insurance, and treatment data into database
-Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Social Media.
-You will be sharing some duties with the office manager.
-You will report to the Specialist regarding marketing, but will report to the office manager for the front desk duties. The Specialist will train you for the majority of tasks related to marketing. The office manager will train you for the front desk.
PART-TIME POSITION: 9:00 am -3:00 pm M, W, F with the possibility of one to two Saturday mornings per month for in or out-of-the-office events. (Days and hours can be negotiated for the right candidate). Pay: $8-$12/hr. + Monthly Bonus.
